Chosen

It is a Beautiful thing to be adopted into a family, to be Chosen. That word, Chosen, or Elect, is a Beautiful, Comforting word. It is also one of the most misunderstood, misused and abused terms in the Bible. In the Old Testament, Israel is referred to as God’s special, Chosen people. The New Testament says that those who believe are the True sons of Abraham and calls upon all people everywhere to repent and be saved. Now anyone, from any nation, can willingly choose to accept Jesus as their Messiah, their Savior, and become part of God’s Elect, His special Chosen people. God's method of choosing His people is to love us first and then to adopt those who willingly choose to love Him back into His family. It is a beautiful thing to be adopted into a family, to be CHOSEN, and I can promise every one of you with 100% certainty, that God has chosen you, He is offering you salvation and the opportunity to become part of His family, one of His Elect, His special Chosen people, but you have to accept His love. It is your choice to accept His offer to be adopted into the family of God or to reject it and choose Satan and destruction by default. Do you believe it? Do you trust Jesus? Before time began God made the choice to love you, to offer you forgiveness and reconciliation through Jesus. Have you made the choice to love Him back? He is waiting with open arms.
